Elias David Diaz (first name pronounced "E-lee-iss")...Entered 2017 season ranked by Baseball America as the organization's "Best Defensive Catcher" and 10th-best prospect...Was also rated as the "Best Defensive Catcher" in the Pirates system prior to the 2015 season...Signed by Pirate scouts Rene Gayo and Rodolfo Petit.

2016
