The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced the 2013 Team PhotoFest will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. on the warning track of PNC Park prior to the team's 7:05 p.m. game vs. the Houston Astros. The event, which is free of charge and open to all fans with a ticket to that night's game, will give fans a unique opportunity to meet and take photos of their favorite Pirates' players and coaches.
On Saturday, the Trib Total Media Home Plate Gate-- located on the corner of General Robinson Street and Mazeroski Way-- will open at 4 p.m. for fans to enter the ballpark. All fans entering PNC Park must have a ticket for that evening's game as tickets will be scanned upon entry. The Home Plate Gate is the only PNC Park gate that will open early on Saturday as fans will be led to the PNC Park outfield warning track. Players and coaches will be in the outfield grass area, moving along the perimeter posing for photos for fans.
All Pirates' players and coaches are scheduled to appear during the one-hour event, excluding the game's starting pitcher.
Fans will be required to provide their own cameras for photo opportunities. Due to time constraints, autographs will be prohibited.
