The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today they have partnered with several sponsors, both local and national, on new agreements for the 2013 season. The partnerships are to include promotions, ballpark entertainment and more, to ensure the best fan-friendly experience for every game at PNC Park.
The new Pirates partners include:
- Arby's Restaurant-- The Pirates have partnered with Arby's on a market-wide promotion that allows fans an opportunity to register for a Pirates-themed prize pack with a chance to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at PNC Park. Arby's in-park presence now includes signage and a coupon distribution at the Pirates Prize Wheel locales.
- Moe's Southwest Grill-- The Pirates have partnered with Moe's to sponsor the 2013 "Text to Win" promotion. The "Text to Win" program takes place during pregame and the first inning of each Pirates game at PNC Park. Fans are given a short-code to text for a chance to win great Pirates merchandise and prizes.
- StubHub ticketing site-- The Pirates have teamed-up with the online ticketing vendor StubHub for prominent in-park signage. The ticket vendor now has signage placement in the bullpen, located in left centerfield, and on the LED boards.
Several additional partners have signed thru 2013 to be a part of the PNC Park experience. Alexia Foods' sweet potato fries will be available throughout the ballpark, Dippin' Dots has acquired serving rights, Klondike will sponsor the sixth inning T-shirt toss, and the Pirates North Shore neighbor-- Stage AE-- will now have in-park advertising. The Pirates are continually in search of enhancements to the in-park experience that makes PNC Park one of the best ballparks in America.
