The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today the process for 2012 Postseason single game ticket opportunities for potential games at PNC Park. Beginning today, fans will have the opportunity to register for the random drawings for the right to purchase tickets to potential 2012 Postseason games at PNC Park.
Postseason ticket opportunity registration will take place exclusively online at pirates.com/postseason starting today and ending at noon on Thursday, September 20.
The Pirates will conduct random drawing(s) from among eligible fans that successfully complete the online registration form during the registration period for the opportunity to purchase tickets to potential games for the National League Wild Card, the National League Division Series, the National League Championship Series and/or the World Series which may be played at PNC Park.
The first random drawing will take place on Friday, September 20, for a potential National League Wild Card game and National League Division Series games at PNC Park with winners notified beginning on Monday, September 24. For the complete schedule of random drawings, visit pirates.com/postseason.
Tickets will be available to winners on a first-come, first-served basis and only while tickets remain. The exact date, times, ticket limits and instructions for ticket purchase for each applicable series will be communicated by e-mail to each registrant selected via the e-mail address submitted on the registration form.
Fans looking to guarantee tickets to Postseason games may bypass the single game registration by placing a deposit on a 2013 Pirates Season Ticket plan. Fans who pay a deposit toward a 2013 Full Season, 41-Game, or 20-Game season ticket plan will receive Postseason priority and will be able to purchase Postseason strips at the individual ticket prices.
