Up next for the Pirates: The Pirates will play the first official night game at McKechnie Field on Wednesday when they host the Yankees at 7:05 p.m. ET. The previously scheduled nightcap was rained out back on March 7.

After delaying his return one more day, Freddy Sanchez is expected to take the field on Wednesday for the first time this spring. The pitching matchup will pit Pittsburgh's Matt Morris against New York right-hander Phil Hughes. Phil Dumatrait, Jaret Wright, Byung-Hyun Kim and Damaso Marte are all slated to pitch an inning of relief for the Pirates, as well.

Up next for the Reds: The Reds will get their one and only Spring Training off-day on Wednesday. There will be no workouts, bullpen sessions or big league participation in Minor League games. Play will resume on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. ET vs. the Twins at Fort Myers. Rotation candidate Homer Bailey will start against Minnesota's Kevin Slowey.
