PITTSBURGH -- With continued rain in the forecast for the rest of the night, Tuesday's game between the Pirates and Brewers at PNC Park was postponed. It was rescheduled as part of a twi-night doubleheader beginning at 5:05 p.m. ET on Aug. 22.
The rainout will push Kevin Correia's first home start of the year to Wednesday, when he will face Milwaukee's Shaun Marcum. Paul Maholm will then pitch the series finale on Thursday against lefty Randy Wolf.
Fans with tickets to Tuesday's game can exchange those tickets to any Sunday through Thursday home game this season, except the June 5 game against the Phillies and the June 26 contest against the Red Sox. Exchanges can be made at the PNC Park ticket office or by mailing the tickets to: Pittsburgh Pirates ticket office, P.O. Box 7000, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212.
The Brewers come back to Pittsburgh for a three-game set from Aug. 22-24.
